Cassandra Matilde Fernandes, Senior Project Officer of “Keep crime out of sport”, Council of Europe: “It’s also to “sell” the convention to countries that are outside the EU and outside Europe, because the convention itself was drafted by countries from all over the world as well as international organisations. So this may be an European Institution but the Convention itself is certainly international”.
