Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) are split into the following : Type 1 MUGA which is a macadam surface finish with primary sports for Tennis and Basketball, Type 2 MUGA which is a macadam surface finish with primary sports for Netball, Type 3 MUGA which is a polymeric surface finish with primary sports for Netball, Type 4 MUGA which is a polymeric surface finish with primary sports for 5-a-side football and Basketball, Type 5a MUGA which is a sand filled surface finish with primary sports for football and hockey, Type 5b MUGA which is a sand dressed surface finish with primary sports for hockey, Type 5c MUGA which is a needle-punch surface finish with primary sports for Football and Hockey.
